In Nick’s fifteen years of professional experience, he has worked with closely held and public companies as well as with the owners and executives of these organizations. His focus has almost exclusively been on pass-through entities like partnerships and limited liability companies. He also has extensive experience with S corporations. In addition to tax compliance, Nick advises his clients on tax issues regarding entity selection during the business start-up phase, reorganizations of existing companies, tax basis and debt issues, like-kind exchanges, cost segregation studies, and overall tax planning for businesses and individuals.

Career Highlights

Prior to joining the firm, Nick was a shareholder at Tarpley & Underwood, an accounting firm that merged with Windham Brannon in 2011. Previously, he was a tax manager in the real estate group for the CPA firms of Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche, both in Atlanta.
