Georgia Accounting Firm Continues to Grow During Pandemic

ATLANTA – (Nov. 12, 2020) –Tomika Bullet and Matt Stelzman have joined Windham Brannon as directors. Bullet will work in the area of tax controversy and Stelzman in the forensics, litigation and valuation practice.

Bullet has more than 15 years of experience with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) where she worked in the small business and self-employed division. During this time, she was a revenue agent conducting examinations of small businesses from a diverse pool of industries and led several tax trainings and new hire courses. Bullet specialized in flow-thru entities tackling technical topics such as stock/debt basis, passive activity and at-risk limitations. During the last seven years of her career at the IRS, she managed a team of revenue agents examining partnership, corporate and high-net-worth individuals.

After beginning her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit, Bullet spent time at Hewlett-Packard and Bellsouth, too. She has a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Tuskegee University in Alabama. The licensed CPA is a member of the National Association for Black Accountants where she has served as vice president of operations.

Stelzman has nearly 20 years of accounting firm experience and currently provides support in litigation matters by providing valuations for marital dissolution purposes and calculating lost earnings, lost profits and economic damages. He has worked on cases for businesses of all sizes, ranging from small, locally-owned to global multi-billion-dollar corporations. He also serves as an expert witness, testifying on the results of his findings.

A Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Matt is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts (NACVA) and the American Society of Appraisers. He currently sits on the executive advisory board and is a liaison to the ethics oversight board for NACVA. Previously, he served on NACVA’s litigation forensics board and as a liaison to the valuation credentialing board. Stelzman earned his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Stelzman is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
