Experience

Karen joined the firm in July 2019 and serves as the Director of Finance and Administration. She is responsible for the firm’s financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting operations, and internal accounting. Karen brings experience as a Controller from other professional service firms including Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs, LLP, Cooper Carry Inc., and Pond & Company.

A native of Savannah, GA, Karen graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in accounting and is an avid sports fan.  Karen volunteers as a Girl Scouts of America troop leader, serves as the president of the Lakeside High School Softball Booster Club, as well as an executive board member of the Lakeside Cluster Summit for DeKalb County Schools.  In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and traveling with her husband and two daughters.
