Experience

Kerry Buchan has 30 years of experience as an accounting professional, serving companies both internally as part of the executive leadership over accounting as well as external auditor. His public accounting experience includes 14 years with national accounting firms.

He has served entities ranging in size from small entrepreneurial, closely-held enterprises to multi-billion dollar international companies, both public and private. Kerry has expert knowledge in a variety of industries such as real estate development, construction, manufacturing and distribution, mining, retail, software development, and professional services. He has managed audits of SEC registrants, which are subject to oversight and review by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, as well as audits of entities that report under International Financial Reporting Standards and whose stock is traded on foreign exchanges such as the Euronext or Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Kerry serves Windham Brannon as the designated Assurance Quality Control Partner and is the primary interface between the firm and the PCAOB and the AICPA’s peer review committee.
